Temp Assistant to Director of Programs, Chaplaincy Innovation Lab

Requirements :

Fundraising Support : 15%

Assist in organizing fundraising campaigns, including drafting campaign materials and coordinating outreach efforts.

Research potential donors and sponsors, and maintain donor databases.

Support the preparation of grant proposals by gathering necessary documents and data.

Administrative Assistance : 30%

Provide general administrative support, such as scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and handling correspondence.

Assist in organizing and maintaining files, documents, and records related to programmatic activities.

Help prepare meeting agendas, take minutes, and follow up on action items for internal and external meetings.

Communication and Outreach : 30%

Assume major responsibility for drafting and editing communications materials, such as newsletters, social media posts, and website content.

Support the coordination of events and meetings, including logistics and participant communication.

Respond to inquiries from stakeholders and ensure timely and professional communication.

Research and Analysis : 20%

Conduct research on relevant topics, trends, and best practices to support programmatic decision-making.

Assist in analyzing data and metrics related to program performance and impact.

Prepare reports and presentations summarizing research findings and analysis.

Team Collaboration : 5%

Collaborate effectively with team members to achieve programmatic goals and objectives.

Provide support to colleagues as needed, contributing to a positive and productive work environment.

Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains within the program team.

This is a temporary, 6-month position.

What the successful candidate needs :

Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel), Google productivity suite (Google Docs, Sheets, etc.); proficiency in or willingness to learn basic image editing software ( cropping logos, etc.)

Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Willingness to learn new processes and ask clarifying questions

Demonstrated interest in nonprofit work, program management, or related fields is preferred.
