Overview

As part of the sales team at Free Market Health, the VP of Sales will be responsible for building and growing revenue, increasing value for our clients, creating a sales strategy, and fostering successful client relationships.

As part of a growing team in a fast-paced, start-up environment, we seek a leader to bring their expertise to build and grow our partnerships with payers and enable our company to reach sales goals as we continue growing to service more clients.

Specifics

The specific responsibilities for this role include, but are not limited to :

  • Develop sales strategy, operational plans, tactics, and processes to drive revenue growth and accomplish financial objectives.
  • Use data and technology to measure and monitor sales processes, identify issues, and enhance performance.
  • Create and implement capabilities to analyze the business environment, identify and understand competitors, and retain and expand the client base.
  • Manage relationships with individual Payers and ensure consistent service and messaging across all connected organizations.
  • Use market and client insights to collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify and suggest new business opportunities.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop effective promotional materials.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a business-related field.
  • 7+ years' experience in Payer sales leadership position.
  • Healthcare technology experience is preferred.
  • In-depth knowledge of selling strategies and methods.
  • Extensive industry knowledge with an eye toward the future.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
  • Strong negotiation and presentation skills.
  • Great strategic planning, organizational, and creative thinking skills.
  • Travel will be 25-75% for in-person meetings with clients and developing key relationships.
  • Must live near a top tier airport including Chicago, Denver, LA, Orlando, KC, NY, Minneapolis, Dallas / Houston, or Nashville.
