H&A is seeking an registered Architectural Project Manager (PM) to work onsite in our Worcester, MA office location. We seek a licensed architect with 10 + years’ experience in the management of architectural projects for educational, commercial and / or institutional projects and who is directly responsible for allocating resources to ensure that the work process flows smoothly.

The PM has primary leadership responsibility in managing both the client relationship and project success, as measured in client satisfaction, work quality, and profitability, while encouraging and promoting team professionalism and collaboration.

The PM manages all phases of the project through construction including budgeting, scheduling, planning, design, estimating, construction documents, bidding and construction administration with the authority to direct and monitor all activities.

Strong and positive client management, team management and communication skills are a must.

Qualifications include :

• Professional degree (Master or Bachelor) in Architecture.
• Registered Architect in the U.S.
• 10+ years of experience in Project Management for all phases through post-occupancy in educational, commercial and / or municipal / institutional project types.
• Ability to maintain existing client relationships, build new client relationships, and secure new projects (in conjunction with the H&A team.)
• Massachusetts Chapter 149 and Chapter 30B experience desired.
• Understanding of project financial management and contract administration, including project coordination, budgeting and scheduling, and contract negotiations.
• Strong abilities in managing fees, schedules and staffing.
• Proven ability to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Experience forming and leading a collaborative, team-oriented environment, where diversity is recognized and celebrated.
• Strong leadership, organization, communication and relationship management skills.
• Highly organized and responsive.
