Under the direction of a Registered Nurse or team leader, provides general nursing care to patients. Attends to the general healthcare and comfort of the patient.
Observes and records treatment and patient progress and reports to supervisor patient's condition or reaction. Administers prescribed medications.
Must be licensed or hold a temporary permit to practice. Must have completed a course in pharmacology.
Position will be based in Thomasville, NC and Mt Gilead, NC.
This candidate will work in the clinic setting, alongside a provider part of the time. The other time, they will work independently in the clinic, virtually with the provider.
Venipunctures, CLIA Point of care testing, blood pressure checks and education are a large part of this role.
