Area Manager, Pool Construction
Job Type : Full-time Salary : $85,000 - $100,000 (Negotiable)
Location : Fort Myers, FL
Schedule : 8-hour shifts, Mon-Fri (Some after-hours and weekends required)
Responsibilities :
- Lead and mentor Project Managers and Superintendents
- Understand building codes for all counties in the coverage area
- Assign, track, and follow up on tasks with Project Managers
- Conduct in-person meetings with homeowners to review pool progress, providing written follow-ups
- Manage subcontractors across assigned areas
- Vet new subcontractors and spot-check for quality
- Identify trends and resolve issues with internal teams and subs
- Monitor active builds through all phases
- Review plans for accuracy and ensure compliance
- Provide training for Project Managers and Superintendents
- Collaborate with the warranty department
- Perform spot checks to ensure standards are met or exceeded
- Monitor trends affecting progress or delays in projects
- Conduct annual reviews of direct reports
- Interview potential new hires
- Serve as the primary customer contact for escalated issues
- Ensure construction equipment needs are met
- Update system as needed
- Perform other duties as assigned
Minimum Requirements :
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Pool construction experience
- General construction experience
- Financial acumen
- Team management experience (production and warranty)
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Professional demeanor with a strong work ethic
