Job Description
We seek a highly experienced and local Sheet Metal Director of Operations to oversee large industrial, commercial, and mechanical projects in Honolulu, Hawaii.
The ideal candidate will have a stable work history with extensive hands-on experience in sheet metal, progressing through roles such as foreman and superintendent.
This leadership position demands excellence in estimating, managing field and office staff, and ensuring project success from inception to completion.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage large-scale industrial, commercial, and mechanical sheet metal projects, ensuring all aspects meet high standards of quality and efficiency.
- Supervise and coordinate field and office staff, fostering a productive and collaborative work environment.
- Prepare accurate and competitive project estimates, ensuring cost-effective resource allocation and budgeting.
- Provide hands-on guidance and support to field teams, leveraging extensive practical experience to solve on-site challenges.
- Mentor and develop junior staff, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.
Qualifications
- Proven track record of stability and commitment within the Honolulu, HI area.
- Significant hands-on experience in sheet metal, with a career progression from entry-level to foreman and superintendent positions.
- Demonstrated ability to manage large industrial, commercial, and mechanical projects successfully.
- Strong skills in project estimation, ensuring accuracy and competitiveness in all bids.
