Our Client, a well-capitalized and top tier Private Equity firm, is seeking an Associate, Development & Asset Management to join the Washington DC office.
The role is focused on the oversight and management of Data Center developments.
Responsibilities :
- Build, maintain and monitor financial models in Excel;
- Prepare and compile due diligence materials, budgets, financial models and schedules, and reports;
- Create, monitor, track and interpret project data including contracts, schedules, budgets and cash flows on an on going basis; and
- Assist in other special projects and assignments as they may arise from time to time;
- Review development plans;
- Conducting market assessments and making recommendations based on results;
- Working on special projects including hold-sell analysis and evaluation of refinancing;
- Interacting with joint venture partners; Authoring executive reports, presentations and offering materials;
- Monitoring business plan performance with particular focus on budget and schedule performance and reacting to correct any variances.
Qualifications :
- 5-6 years of experience in an analytically rigorous Real Estate or Finance environment
- MBA in real estate, finance, or related area and / or Bachelor’s degree in real estate, finance or business;
- Advanced Excel experience, strong analytical and financial modeling skills including preparing excel pro-formas, an in depth understanding of financial modeling including cash on cash returns, IRR analysis, and discounted cash flow;
- Experience in the field of real estate development must like a fast paced, multi tasking environment;
- Data Center experience is not required but a plus.
Salary : $140k - $160k DOE plus bonus
