Job Description
We are looking for part-time Teacher Aides, if you’re interested in starting in August, to work with early childhood education centers, preschools, and daycares across the Minneapolis-Saint Paul metropolitan area.
As a Teacher Aide, you will support in maintaining a clean and safe environment for children at the center, assist with meal preparation and communicate with the Teacher Assistant and Lead Teacher regarding any additional support you can provide in the center.
In this role, it will provide the first step in developing your career in Early Childhood Education. You will gain exposure to working with the Teacher Assistant and Lead Teacher and understand more about the inner workings of a daycare center.
This role comes with a competitive hourly rate between $17 - $20 per hour, paid weekly. With this role there is no requirement to work weekends and will be on variable days per week based on your schedule and within the hours of 7 : 30 to 4 : 30 pm or 8 : 15 am - 5 : 15 pm.
Responsibilities :
- Actively engage with class at all times
- Communicate with Lead Teacher regarding additional support needs
- Assist with classroom cleanliness
- Ensure child hygiene
- Assist with meal prep

Qualifications :
- High school diploma
- Pediatric First aid & CPR certification
- 1-year experience working in a daycare setting
- Applicants must have professional proficiency in English

Preferred Qualifications :
- Associate’s degree or higher
- 1+ years of experience as a Teacher Aide
- Daycare training (SUID / SIDS, AHT, or similar)
- Basic understanding of classroom expectations
