POSITION SUMMARY :

The Senior Field Recruiter is responsible for full cycle recruiting, from talent sourcing and attracting candidates, to interviewing and hiring exceptional Field Service Technician, Preventative Maintenance Technician, Refurb Technician, and Warehouse candidates.

The Senior Field Recruiter will collaborate with department managers on a regular basis and proactively identify future hiring needs.

The position requires a high level of professionalism and a strong sense of discretion. The Senior Field Recruiter will also source candidates using various platforms, like technical schools, local HVAC and trade associations, ATS, social media networks, job boards, and employee referrals.

The responsibilities of the Senior Field Recruiter are to ensure our company attracts, hires, and retains the best employees, while growing a strong talent pipeline.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Develops, facilitates, and implements all phases of the recruitment process with a focus on technicians and warehouse positions
  • Builds partnerships with technical colleges and professional trade organizations to source and recruit talent and to market Easy Ice as an employer of choice
  • Identifies and implements efficient and effective recruiting methods and strategies based on the available role, industry standards, and the needs of the organization
  • Reviews applicants to evaluate if they meet the position requirements
  • Interviews candidates following company's rules and regulations
  • Ensures recruitment activity is updated in an accurate, complaint and timely manner within the applicant tracking system
  • Develops recruitment goals and objectives
  • Develops sustainable recruiting strategy based on our goals and needs
  • Source candidates leveraging various social media and ATS platforms
  • Conducts position intake conversations with hiring managers and acts as a partner with them throughout the recruiting, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding processes
  • Determine the effectiveness and success of current recruiting plans and strategies
  • Write and proofread job descriptions
  • Recommend new sources for active and passive candidate recruiting
  • Build talent networks to find qualified active and passive candidates
  • Evaluate which sources bring best candidates
  • Identify key recruiting KPIs

P OSITION QUALIFICATIONS :

Education : Associates Degree in Business Administration or 5+ years of related experience required; bachelor’s degree preferred

Experience :

  • 5+ years of experience as Recruiter with a 1-2 year concentration in technical recruiting
  • Ability to use various cost-effective sourcing strategies, such as internet job boards, networking, employee referrals, resume mining and social networking
  • Natural collaborator and successful in building internal relationships
  • Experience establishing internal recruitment practices, including applicant tracking systems
  • Passionate about HR and Talent Acquisition methods
  • Ability to scan large volumes of resumes.
  • Ability to work with all levels of the organization
  • Understanding and familiarity with Recruitment Marketing
  • Good understanding and experience with HR tools such as ATS and HRIS
  • Some understanding of basic marketing strategies
  • Resourceful and have problem-solving skills
  • Extensive experience in using candidate sourcing tools for recruiting
  • Excellent time-management skills
  • Proficient interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to handle high-volume work efficiently

  • Communicate clearly and professionally, both verbally and in writing, and possess excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize a diversified workload, meeting established deadlines with minimal supervision
  • Demonstrated ability to exercise initiative, independent judgment and be a self-starter who works with integrity while also being a strong team player

WORK ENVIRONMENT :

  • Work primarily in a climate-controlled environment with minimal safety / health hazard potential
  • Sedentary, sitting, walking, occasional lifting (overhead, waist level) from floor, bending, frequent near vision use for reading and computer use
  • Sits for extended periods of time
  • Must have sufficient visual acuity to be able to work, for prolonged periods of time, on a computer monitor
