Job Description :

We are Hiring Immediately for a Machine Operator position in an exciting warehouse facility!

Key Responsibilities :

• Job Setup and File Preparation :
• Review print job specifications and ensure all necessary materials and information are available.
• Prepare and format digital files for printing, ensuring proper resolution, bleed, and crop marks.
• Printer Operation :
• Set up and operate cut sheet toner and inkjet printers according to job requirements.
• Load paper and consumables into the printers, ensuring correct paper type and size.
• Perform printer calibration and routine maintenance to ensure optimal performance.
• Printing and Quality Control :
• Execute print jobs, monitoring the process to ensure consistency and quality.
• Conduct test prints to verify settings and make necessary adjustments.
• Inspect printed sheets for defects or inconsistencies, ensuring they meet quality standards.
• Post-Processing and Finishing :
• Perform post-processing tasks such as cutting, laminating, binding, and folding.
• Ensure finished products are properly packaged and labeled for delivery.
• Troubleshooting and Maintenance :
• Identify and resolve issues with printing equipment and software.
• Perform regular maintenance and cleaning of printers to prevent downtime and ensure longevity.
• Documentation and Reporting :
• Maintain accurate records of print jobs, including specifications, quantities, and any issues encountered.
• Report on production metrics and suggest improvements to processes and workflows.

Qualifications :

• Proven experience in a print production environment, specifically with cut sheet toner and inkjet printers.
• Strong technical knowledge of printing processes, equipment, and materials.
• Excellent attention to detail and quality control skills.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues quickly and efficiently.
• HSD or GED.

Physical Requirements :

• Ability to lift and move materials up to 30lbs pounds.
• Standing and operating machinery for extended periods.
• Manual dexterity for operating cutting and finishing equipment.
