Description :
We are searching for a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team for the 2024-25 school year. The SLP will handle a diverse caseload of students from kindergarten through 12th grade, delivering comprehensive speech and language services.
The ideal candidate will be committed to assisting students in overcoming communication challenges and achieving their full academic potential.
Responsibilities :
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for students with communication disorders.
- Provide speech therapy services in both individual and group settings.
- Monitor and document student progress accurately.
- Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student success.
- Participate in IEP meetings, offering valuable insights on students' speech and language needs.
- Stay updated on the latest research and best practices in speech-language pathology.
Requirements :
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- CCC certification from ASHA.
- Valid Maryland license or certification in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Experience working with K-12 students is preferred.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to maintain detailed records and meet deadlines.
