Job Overview :

LCG is seeking a Senior SharePoint Developer who will provide supplemental support in planning, designing, developing, and delivering low-code applications, workflows, and collaboration solutions using Microsoft tools.

The role involves working extensively with SharePoint Online, Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and other Microsoft Power Platform tools.

The Application Developer will also work with Azure DevOps and apply software design principles, agile methodologies, and federal information systems privacy and security controls to ensure secure, high-quality solutions.

Responsibilities :

Assist in business application planning initiatives.

Conduct comprehensive business analysis encompassing personnel, data, processes, and technologies.

Create business process models, develop business architecture artifacts, and provide actionable recommendations for process improvements.

Design, develop, and deliver data models that facilitate the creation of reports and visualizations in Power BI.

Design, develop, and manage SharePoint Online sites.

Oversee data migration from various sources to SharePoint Online, utilizing native functionalities and Power Automate workflows as necessary, while ensuring data integrity and quality standards are upheld according to business requirements.

Assist in maintaining an inventory of SharePoint sites.

Design, develop, and implement solutions utilizing M365 Apps and Services.

Design, develop, and deliver solutions using the Microsoft Power Platform, primarily Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI, integrating multiple tools as needed.

Support the management of the application inventory.

Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for all associated processes and solutions.

Requirements :

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is required. A Master’s degree is preferred but not required.
  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in application development, with at least 3 years of recent experience (within the past 2 years) working with Microsoft SharePoint Online, Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI.
  • Strong knowledge of Power Platform tools (Power Virtual Agents, Power Pages) and Azure DevOps.
  • Experience with database management, SQL, query languages, and data modeling.
  • Knowledge of federal information systems privacy and security controls, including NIST and FISMA compliance.
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI.
  • Proficiency in SharePoint Online development and management.
  • Strong experience with data architecture, data management, and SQL databases.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile environments.

Preferred Qualifications :

  • Experience in developing low-code solutions within federal government agencies, specifically NIH or similar environments, is preferred.
  • Microsoft Certified : Power Platform Developer Associate (or equivalent)
  • Microsoft Certified : Azure DevOps Engineer Expert
  • Microsoft Certified : Solutions Expert (M365 or SharePoint Online)
  • Certifications in Agile methodologies, such as Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or PMI-ACP, are highly preferred.

Compensation and Benefits

The projected compensation range for this position is $113,075 to $145,400 per year benchmarked in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area.

The Target Salary is $130,700. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.

Salary at LCG is determined by various factors, including but not limited to role, location, the combination of education / training, knowledge, skills, competencies, certifications, and work experience.
