The EDI analyst II is responsible for administering the electronic data interchange (EDI) processes and utilities between Jazwares and our vendors.
They communicate with trading partners to facilitate EDI transaction set-up, ongoing maintenance, and support. The EDI analyst continually monitors scheduled batch production jobs while troubleshooting issues to resolution.
They maintain accurate documentation of all production processing, problem resolutions, and daily request processing.
What you'll be doing :
- Serves as the primary resource of knowledge and experience as a technical contact for internal and external stakeholders on any EDI-related issue.
- Monitors audits and maintains interfaces between business systems to include interfaces between internal and external partners, focusing on external Electronic Data Interface (EDI) processes.
- Partners with internal team and EDI outsource vendors to drive supplier onboarding and successful transaction processing.
- Diagnoses EDI process problems of a complex nature, coordinating with other technical and / or business resources as necessary for assistance.
Ensure and provide on-call application technical support for production EDI systems.
- Prioritize, leads and facilitates the design, development, testing, and implementation of new software applications and EDI programs, maps, and processes through the entire life cycle.
- Oversees EDI & batch processes day-to-day to identify and address problems as they arise and track activity levels, compiling and tracking metrics for senior management.
- Assist in maintaining a roadmap and strategy around software and EDI advancements.
- Drive process improvements related to EDI with internal and external stakeholder groups.
- Create, update, and own processes and supplier integration mappings and other documentation.
What we look for :
- Bachelor's degree or demonstrated equivalency of experience and / or education.
- Minimum 5 years of experience with EDI (Retailer / Vendor / Supply Chain) and vendor onboarding.
- Familiarity with common connectivity methods to exchange EDI, as well as VANs.
- Industry knowledge of EDI transaction codes (850, 855, 865, etc.) or equivalent experience with other EDI supply chain transaction codes.
- Skilled at creating and maintaining vendor onboarding artifacts and project status for various audiences.
- Perform basic data analysis as required by assigned efforts.
- Read technical documentation to develop implementation procedures on application upgrades and changes.
- Excellent attention to detail and highly organized.
- Knowledge of SageX3 a plus.
- Ability to multitask and work well under pressure while maintaining keen attention to detail.
- Passion for creative problem solving, collaboration, and technology.
- Strong prioritization and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives from start to completion with minimal assistance.
- Self-managed and motivated.
- Experienced communicator in working with technical and business teams.
