Currently we are looking for a full time Patient CareCoordinator for our 12410 E Sinto Ave Ste 205 Spokane Valley WA99216
BIlingual in English &Spanish strongly preferred but not required. Flexibility to cover aday or so here and there in our otherclinics.
ESSENTIALPOSITION DUTIES
- Greets warmly andmaintains a friendly welcoming relationship with all patients andclients including among others physicians and physician officestaff
- Clearly communicates with all staffincluding clinical and corporate employees in a friendly andcourteous manner
- Responsible for answeringphones and greeting patients with the utmost professionalism andcare
- Schedules new patients and collects allnecessary information in order to verify insurance withcarrier
- Accurately and completely enterspatient information and demographics into computersystem
- Submits patient insurance informationin a timely fashion to ensure benefits are verified before thepatient’s initial evaluation
- Provides patients with an explanation of their benefitsand thoroughly answers all questions
- Calls andconfirms new patient appointments
- Collectscopays / deductibles and payments prior to patient being seen byprovider per established policies and procedures.
Inform patient ofany outstanding balance and issues receipt when monies arecollected
- Works closely with BillingDepartment Physical Therapists and Aide staff to assure smoothpatient flow
- Follow up on noshow patients on a daily basis
- Treatment authorization and / or continued treatment Rxfollow up
- Maintains patient confidence andprotects operations by keeping information confidential
- Maintains schedule targets by reporting percentages ofarrivals cancelations and rescheduled appointments to RegionalAdministration Manager
- Maintains physicaltherapy supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventorylevel; anticipating needed supplies and communicating to person incharge or ordering
- Participates in and adheresto as required the HIPAA Policies and Procedures of TherapyPartners Group
Knowledge Skills andAbilities
- Thorough knowledge ofMicrosoft Office

Education andExperience
Education : HighSchool diploma or equivalent
Experience : 12 years prior experience incustomer service and administration preferred; medical or PT frontoffice experience required.
PhysicalRequirements and Working Conditions : Requires prolongedsitting some walking bending stooping reaching and stretching.
Requires eyehand coordination and manual dexterity sufficient tooperate a keyboard mouse photocopier telephone calculator and otherequipment.
Requires normal range of hearing and eyesight to recordprepare and present reports.
