Short Description :
The Laboratory Manager oversees all technical, managerial and financial areas of the Flow Cytometry Laboratory. This laboratory primarily supports testing for the MD Anderson cancer patients, including cellular therapies.
She / he is responsible for ensuring all regulatory requirements of the applicable agencies are met and compliance is ongoing.
Experience Required :
Three to five years progressive clinical laboratory experience and / or related management experience preferred.
Education Requirements :
Completion of an accredited laboratory science program is preferred. Bachelor’s degree required for technical areas
Special Requirements :
Excellent problem solving skills; ability to identify problems and offer solutions.
Ability to work in a collaborative team environment and respect opinions of others.
Experience with Microsoft Office and other computer applications, including LIS.
