Public Storage is looking for a dynamic Vice President, Corporate HRBP that will drive our mission by partnering with leaders and department heads to help them align their teams under a common vision focused on talent development and employee engagement.
This role will leverage strong business acumen, big-picture vision, and a hands-on approach to lead growth and change in the organization through engagement and service delivery.
Reporting to the SVP Human Resources, this position will work closely with Public Storage’s key stakeholders to develop and deliver solutions to meet business objectives.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Strategic HR Planning : Collaborate with senior leadership and business units to develop and implement HR strategies that align with organizational goals and objectives.
- HR Business Partnership : Act as a trusted advisor and strategic partner to business units and leaders.
- Proactively collaborate with stakeholders to understand their needs, provide HR guidance and support, and drive initiatives that enhance organizational performance and effectiveness.
- Employee Relations : Drive performance conversations and partner with the ER department on people issues
- Identify HR priorities and initiatives to support the overall business strategy.
- Serve as a credible partner with business leaders on key Talent initiatives for employees.
- Lead the Talent Review process across the firm and guide leaders.
- Manage the OKR goal setting process.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to design and implement organizational and talent initiatives with the Corporate HR Centers of Excellence.
- Collaborate in the implementation of the company's people strategy which includes all aspects of culture, engagement, DEI / ESG, HR communications, and employee experience.
- Create and implement internal development programs that drive engagement, career growth, and retention.
- Leverage people analytics to drive results, measure program adoption, effectiveness, and value for team members.
- Lead Org Design and the Succession Planning process
- Partners with HR colleagues and leaders to ensure consistency in the application of Talent programs.
