Job Title : GMP Laboratory Technician
Job Description
The GMP Operations Technician 1 plays a crucial role in supporting all aspects of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and production in the Clinical Manufacturing Facility.
This individual collaborates with the Manager of GMP Operations and staff to provide hands-on assistance for day-to-day operations in GMP & Viral Vector Core production.
Responsibilities include executing production processes, maintaining documentation, facility, and equipment. Additionally, the Technician 1 supports production efforts to deliver products in a timely, compliant, and fiscally responsible manner by adhering to appropriate practices, batch records, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Tasks also involve ordering and maintaining materials inventory, supporting daily operational activities by ensuring the availability of materials with proper documentation, working closely with management on continuous improvement objectives, operating and performing calibration, validation, cleaning of all facility equipment and systems, and assisting in process documentation review, revision, remediation, and process change controls.

Work Site
This is a fully on-site position in Columbus, Ohio.
Work Environment
The work environment is team-oriented and diverse, with a growing group of individuals. The role requires being on feet most of the day and gowning up to enter clean rooms.
The dress code includes casual lab attire such as closed-toed shoes, socks covering ankles, khaki pants or jeans with no holes, and shirts with no large graphics.
The typical shift is Monday to Friday from 7 AM to 5 : 30 PM, working four ten-hour shifts with flexibility in scheduling when needed.
