Job Summary :
The Installation Manager will oversee all aspects of the installation process for projects managed by Harlequin Design. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, project management skills, and leadership to ensure installations are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities :
- Project Oversight : Manage the installation process from pre-installation planning to project completion, ensuring alignment with design specifications and timelines.
- Team Leadership : Lead and supervise installation teams, providing training, guidance, and support to ensure high performance and safety standards.
- Client Liaison : Serve as the primary point of contact for clients during installations, addressing any concerns and ensuring client satisfaction throughout the process.
- Coordination : Collaborate with designers, project managers, and other stakeholders to coordinate logistics, schedules, and resources for each installation project.
- Quality Control : Conduct on-site inspections to ensure installations meet quality standards and specifications. Identify and resolve any issues that arise during the installation process.
- Budget Management : Monitor project budgets and resource allocation, ensuring cost-effective solutions without compromising quality.
- Documentation : Maintain accurate records of installation processes, changes, and project completion for future reference and reporting.
- Health & Safety Compliance : Ensure all installation activities comply with relevant health and safety regulations and industry best practices.
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in a related field (Architecture, Design, Engineering, or Project Management) preferred.
- Proven experience in installation management, preferably in a design or fabrication environment.
- Strong knowledge of construction and installation processes, materials, and techniques.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working effectively with diverse teams and clients.
- Ability to solve problems quickly and efficiently.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- Valid drivers license and ability to travel to various job sites in the NYC area.
