Implementation Consultant
Our client, located in Danbury, is looking for an Implementation Consultant to support a transition to Netsuite, we are seeking an experienced Implementation Consultant with a focus on accounting and finance to join our team.
The Implementation Consultant will play a crucial role in the transition to NetSuite, specifically focusing on the accounting and finance modules.
This role requires an expert who can ensure a seamless data transfer, system configuration, and integration to enhance our financial operations.
What you'll do as an Implementation Consultant :
- Lead the accounting and finance aspects of the ERP implementation project, from planning through execution.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business processes and financial reporting requirements.
- Map and transfer financial data from existing systems to NetSuite, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Configure NetSuite to meet the company's accounting and finance needs, including setting up accounts, financial reporting, and compliance requirements.
- Develop and execute data validation and reconciliation processes to ensure data integrity.
- Train and support finance and accounting staff on the new system, providing ongoing assistance and troubleshooting as needed.
- Create and maintain detailed documentation of implementation processes and procedures.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies within the finance department using NetSuite.
What you'll need to succeed as an Implementation Consultant :
- CPA or equivalent accounting certification.
- Experience with NetSuite ERP implementation.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience with ERP implementation projects, specifically with a focus on accounting and finance.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting requirements.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
