Snelling is searching for experienced Industrial Painters in the Alabaster, AL area. The Industrial Painter will use various painting techniques that will include but are not limited to powder coat, wet paint spraying, and several other techniques on metal parts.
Material preparation such as sandblasting, cleaning, dipping, and masking, among other techniques is required.
Night Shift, with overtime required! Pay to start is $16.00-23.00 / hr, depending on experience, with increases and great benefits to come!
JOB DUTIES FOR INDUSTRIAL PAINTER :
- Paint and apply finishing coats to in accordance with blueprints and / or customer specifications.
- Set up and maintain work areas and operate painting equipment in accordance to safety procedures.
- Ensure that all components are produced / coated efficiently and are consistent with company-established goals for quality and customer order on-time performance.
- Load and unload parts or products onto fixtures.
- Inspect paint jobs and materials, adjusting colors and fixing defects.
REQUIREMENTS FOR INDUSTRIAL PAINTERS :
- Must have 1-2 years experience as a painter; in a warehouse or manufacturing environment
- Familiarity with epoxy paint is a plus, epoxy & zinc are an even greater plus
- Lift / Carry up to 100 pounds
