Description
DUTIES AND TASKS :
- Knowledge of various sport rules and ability to enforce rules at all times
- Provide fair, quality officiating during contests
- Ensure safety of participants
- Develop intramural schedules for various leagues and tournaments
- Verify player eligibility
- Serve as scorekeeper, game official, etc. as needed
- Promote exciting activities to foster the continuous growth of the Intramural program
- Perform general setup, breakdown, custodial and maintenance functions as needed
- Update intramural website with game results daily
- Maintain positive public relations with students and staff
- Attend any mandatory staff meetings and staff training
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES :
Knowledge :
- Proof of current certification of CPR, AED Essentials, and Standard First Aid
- Or willing to be certified in CPR, AED Essentials, and Standard First Aid prior to working
- Applicants must be full time undergraduate students eligible for student employment
