We are hiring aSecurity and Emergency Services (SES) Utility Officer I who; isresponsible for carrying out the SES Program under the direction ofthe Supervisor.

This position performs regular patrols of theproperty, provides relief staffing for the gatehouse and respondsto non-emergency calls for service.

This position may also functionin a support role on emergency responses under the directsupervision of an EMROfficer / Supervisor.

Compensation : Commensurate with experience up to $23 perhour.

Howyou will make animpact :

• Routineinterior and exterior patrols of the buildings andgrounds
• Conductssafety checks and inspections in support of Life Safety and OSHAcompliance
• Receivescalls for non-emergency service fromdispatch and security by radio or telephone and responds timely andappropriately.
• Respondsand assists in Community Emergencies, including but not limited to;fires, floods, severe weather, hazardous materials incidents, bombthreats, andevacuations.
• Respondsand assists with searches of missingresidents.
• Maintains avisible and professional presence at thegatehouse
• Creates thebest initial impression of thecommunity
• Acknowledgesvisitors provide a pleasant greeting and offer assistance as neededto all persons entering thecommunity.
• Screens allvehicle and pedestrian traffic entering the community per thegatehouse SOP
• Providesproper parking passes, maps, and instructs visitors to park inappropriatespaces.
• Documents allvisitors and vendors / contractors via the standard Gatehouse log inlegiblehandwriting.
