Special Education Teacher
Blazer Jobs is seeking a dedicated and experienced Special Education Teacher to join a reputable school district. This full-time contract position offers a chance to make a significant impact on the lives of students with special needs.
Position Overview :
- Location : Braintree, MA
- Job Type : Full-time contract
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with diverse learning needs.
- Adapt and modify curriculum materials to meet students' unique requirements.
- Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and parents to ensure a comprehensive approach to student success.
- Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting instructional strategies as needed.
- Maintain a positive, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment.
Requirements :
- Bachelor's or Masters degree in Special Education or a related field.
- Valid state certification in Special Education.
- Experience working with students with disabilities, preferably in a school setting.
- Wouldprefer a license in SLD or EBD.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Professional references required.
