Position Details :
- Title : Tool and Die Maker
- Location : Pompano Beach, FL
- Shift : Monday Friday 8am-4 : 30pm
- Compensation : $20-$25 / hr
- Benefits : Robust Benefits PackagePosition Description : Responsibilities Include : Responsible for building and repair of gauges, fixtures, tooling and dies;
assembly and testing of complex tooling and dies in production departments.
- Use blueprints, sketches, models, or provided specifications to plan sequences of operations for fabricating tools, dies and assemblies.
- Verify dimensions, alignments and clearances of finished parts for conformance to specifications, by utilizing measuring instruments such as calipers, gauge blocks, micrometers and dial indicators.
- Utilize machining equipment and hand tools to file, grind, adjust, fit and assemble parts to make, repair or modify dies, gauges, and tooling.
- Conduct testing of completed tools or dies to ensure that parts meet specifications; adjust as necessary.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area and adhere to safety and quality policies and requirements.Requirements :
- Completion of formal apprenticeship program or completion of on-the-job training to meetcompany expectations.
- Attention to detail & accuracy, technical capacity, and advance math skills.
- Ability to read blueprints.
- Collaboration, communication proficiency, and time management.
