Job Title : Hydraulic Fabricator
Job Description
This role involves assembling and installing components and subassemblies onto equipment being manufactured using various methods such as drilling, tapping, punching, machining, wiring, plumbing (hard line and hose), and testing the equipment according to design specifications.
The position is responsible for testing and ensuring the quality installation of hydraulic systems and the coordination of the system for a fully functioning unit.
Responsibilities
- Review Job Master Work Authorizations, Drawings, Notes, and Change Orders to ensure work complies with specifications.
- Coordinate work in progress with other personnel, including on-coming personnel during shift changes.
- Perform mechanical assembly using power tools.
- Operate heavy equipment as required.
- Read and interpret blueprints.
- Troubleshoot hydraulic systems.
Essential Skills
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in hydraulics in a manufacturing environment.
- Three years of practical experience in the assembly of heavy machinery / equipment or related disciplines.
- Ability to perform specific technical tasks using tools for equipment assembly, such as wiring and plumbing layout / termination / connection.
- Capability to work in a flexible environment and adapt to changing work priorities.
- Ability to maintain high-quality effort in a rapid-paced environment.
- Proficiency in reading, interpreting, and following drawings / blueprints.
- Ability to perform calculations and solve practical problems related to heavy equipment assembly.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with the layout and installation of mechanical equipment.
- Ability to perform operational testing and repair modification of completed assemblies.
- Capability to manage tools effectively and handle exposure to hydraulic oils.
- Comfortable with climbing, stooping, and working at heights while harnessed.

Work Environment
Work in a large production environment handling heavy equipment. The work schedule is Friday-Sunday from 5am-5pm.
