SMX is seeking a Contracts Administrator to support the Prototype Integration Facility (PIF) at Redstone Arsenal, AL. This is a hybrid position with roughly 50% onsite.
The candidate must be highly motivated and organized with the ability to handle multiple projects in an exciting and fast paced work environment.

The Contracts Administrator will be responsible for :
- Administering various types of Government contracts in an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) task ordering environment
- Working closely with Government Business team and Government Project Leads to develop acquisition packages in accordance with FAR, DFARS, AFARS regulations, and other DoD directed policies and procedures
- Preparing Contractor Requirements Packages (CRPs) for Task Orders and Purchase Orders
- Tracking of Contract Awards
- Preparing and evaluating Contract modifications and Closeouts
- Responsible for reviewing Statement of Work, Order Execution Packages, Technical evaluations, ULO / NULO actions, Blanket Purchase Agreements (BPA) Sole source justifications and contract close outs
Required Skills and Experience :
- Clearance Required : Secret
- Bachelor's degree + 10 or more years of experience in a related field
- Substitutions : Master's degree + 8 or more years of experience in related field
- Must possess effective interpersonal skills
- Sound analytical skills
- Ability to work independently
- Microsoft Word and Excel experience
Desired Qualifications :
- Previous experience working with government purchasing and accounting systems
- Microsoft SharePoint experience
- Familiarity with Procurement Work Directives (PWDs) 1095s
