Job Description

We are currently seeking a Business Analyst for our Utilities Consulting Division .

We are seeking a highly skilled Electric Utility Business Analyst who possesses a deep understanding of how engineering drawings are created, shared, and viewed across multiple departments within a utility company.

The ideal candidate will be well-versed in the entire project lifecycle, from the initial stages to completion, and will play a crucial role in ensuring seamless communication and coordination between various stakeholders involved in a project.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Collaborate with engineering teams to understand the creation process of engineering drawings and ensure alignment with project requirements.
  • Develop and implement strategies for efficient sharing and viewing of engineering drawings across different departments, optimizing collaboration and communication.
  • Analyze workflows and identify bottlenecks in the drawing sharing process, proposing solutions to enhance efficiency and productivity.
  • Act as a liaison between engineering teams, project managers, and stakeholders to ensure timely delivery and accuracy of engineering drawings.
  • Utilize analytical tools and software to track the progress of projects, identify risks, and provide insights for data-driven decision-making.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and technological advancements related to engineering drawing processes in the electric utility sector.
  • Provide training and guidance to team members on the proper procedures for handling engineering drawings and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Proven experience in a business analyst or project management role within the electric utility industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of engineering drawing standards, tools, and software used in utility projects.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and generate actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to facilitate collaboration among cross-functional teams.
