SUMMARY
The Inventory Coordinator will oversee and manage inventory control processes within our turnkey beverage can manufacture, can fill, and logistics operations.
This role is crucial for maintaining accurate inventory counts, ensuring material availability, and supporting production efficiency.
The Inventory Coordinator will work closely with various departments to align inventory strategies with overall business goals.
The role will report directly to the Operations Compliance Supervisor, who will report directly to the Vice President of Logistics.
Shift :
Monday-Friday 8 : 00 am-5 : 00 pm. Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as required
Roles and Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate inventory records through both regularly performed cycle counts as well as directed counts.
- Coordinate the efforts of the Cycle Count team to prioritize and effectively complete both cycle and direct counts.
- Ensure inventory levels meet production needs and minimize overstock and shortages.
- Collaborate with Business Operations Leadership on reconciliation, inventory forensics, and reporting against the Cycle Count Program.
- Identify inventory variance trends and work with appropriate company stakeholders to complete Root Cause Analysis, Corrective Actions, and future process audits.
- Work with production and logistics teams to coordinate inventory needs and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Identify and implement strategies for inventory control process improvements to enhance performance, accuracy, efficiency, and reduce costs.
- Actively participate in initiatives to improve inventory processes and systems.
- Ensure compliance with all safety standards and protocols related to inventory handling and storage.
- Maintain accurate documentation for all inventory transactions and prepare reports for management.
- Provide support to the production and logistics teams, ensuring they have the materials needed for efficient operation.
- Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) : inventory accuracy rates, Counts completed, reduction in downtime due to inventory issues, turnover ratios, cost-saving achievements, cycle count attrition, safety compliance, and overall inventory control productivity.

Must have strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data for effective decision-making. Must demonstrate excellent communication and collaboration skills, ensuring smooth interactions with team members and vendors.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are crucial for maintaining accurate inventory records and supporting efficient operations.
Computer Skills :
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook is essential, and experience with ERP systems is preferred.
Education :
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience in a manufacturing environment with previous experience in inventory management, preferably within a manufacturing or logistics environment.
