We are seeking a detail-oriented, thorough, and organized network administrator to join our team. In this position, you will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support for the classified network onboard NSWC Corona.
You will also respond to tickets, run diagnostic programs, isolate problems, and determine and implement networking solutions.
What You’ll Get to Do :
Monitor and respond quickly and effectively to requests received through the help desk
Respond to customer queries in person, by phone, via email, the ticketing system, or via remote support
Provide networking assistance and support for incoming concerns and issues related to networking systems, software and hardware
Maintain daily performance of computer systems
Work through the problem-solving process with employees, empowering them to do the same in the future
Run diagnostic problems to resolve problems
You’ll Bring These Qualifications :
Must be a U.S. Citizen
Must be able to work on site locally
Must have at least 5 years’ experience with CISCO routers, switches, ASA firewalls, Linux and Windows Operating Systems.
Knowledge in port security, cabling technique, troubleshooting network connectivity issues, patching for security requirements, VoIP installation / maintenance, DISA GVS, STIGS, subnetting, and network topology / diagrams.
Must have one (or more) of the following IT certifications :
CCNA Security
CySA+
GICSP
GSEC
Security+ CE
SSCP
