As a Warranty Administrator, you will be responsible for working with external and internal clients in order to effectively satisfy requirements related to timeliness, quality, and cost of equipment repairs, such as :
- Manage warranty and repair process from beginning to end, including maintaining a log of calls, initial analysis of problems, subsequent ordering of parts, and final shipment to client and / or vendor.
- Ensure to have sufficient insurance information on any contractor prior to work being performed.
- Make decisions in regards to logistical and shipping issues.
- Enter and maintain sales orders in IT systems for warranty service as required.
- Generate weekly, monthly, and quarterly warranty reports.
- Conduct weekly warranty meetings, follow up on open issues to ensure service completion.
- Provide general troubleshooting and fault isolation of mechanical, electrical and refrigeration systems.
Work Experience
Preferred Candidate Might Have :
- Previous experience with Warranty is required
- 3+ years related experience in a business / administrative environment.
- Associates degree or equivalent is preferred.
- Experience with providing technical / troubleshooting support over the phone.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word and Outlook)
- Convey general test procedures of components and equipment.
- Read and interrupt basic schematic diagrams and bill of materials.
