Primary Responsibilities
- Pricing Strategy Development : Design and implement effective pricing strategies for all services offered, ensuring alignment with the company’s financial objectives and market conditions.
- Margin and ROI Management : Continuously monitor and evaluate pricing execution to ensure the company meets its margin targets and achieves a satisfactory return on investment.
- Bid Pricing : Manage the pricing of all incoming bids, ensuring accuracy, competitiveness, and alignment with strategic goals.
This includes thorough analysis and cost estimation to support winning bids.
- Analytical Support : Provide robust analytical support to enhance and improve cost models. Utilize data analytics to identify trends, forecast pricing impacts, and recommend adjustments to pricing strategies.
- Market Analysis : Conduct regular market research and competitive analysis to stay informed about industry trends, pricing movements, and competitor strategies.
Use this information to inform pricing decisions and strategies.
Collaboration : Work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, operations, and finance, to ensure cohesive and effective pricing practices.
Collaborate with these teams to understand client needs, market demands, and operational capabilities.
Reporting and Documentation : Maintain accurate records of pricing decisions, strategies, and performance metrics. Prepare regular reports for senior management to inform strategic decision-making.
Education and Experience :
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations Research, Applied Mathematics, Industrial Engineering or equivalent experience.
- A minimum of 6 years of expernce in Supply Chain, Operations Research, Applied Mathematics, Industrial Engineering.
- Certifications : Data Modeling, Data Analysis, Mathematical Modeling, Optimization
- Skills and Abilities : Detailed, full-cycle knowledge in key supply chain / logistics, network design, warehouse operations, and inventory management (e.
g. variability, safety stock, GMROI, marginal revenue / cost, etc.) processes, current best practices and associated cost structures Experienced process reengineering champion with multiple projects led that removed efficiencies and costs from the system (Six Sigma I Lean certification highly preferred) Prior Sales or direct customer management, Merchandising and Marketing experience in product, placement, price and promotion, strongly preferred.
