Title : Organizational Change Manager
Location : This role will be majority remote with an expectation to be onsite in Austin, Texas 1 time per month

We are seeking an experienced Organizational Change Manager to lead and manage change management activities for a large-scale IT transformation project.
This role is critical to ensuring a smooth transition and user adoption of new processes, systems, and structures. Reporting to the IT Project Management Office (PMO), the Change Manager will work closely with the project team and stakeholders to assess change impacts, develop change management strategies, and oversee initiatives that drive successful adoption.
Key activities include stakeholder analysis, tailored communication, training, risk management, and cross-functional collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead change management initiatives for the department transformation project, ensuring alignment with project objectives
- Develop and implement change management plans that promote effective adoption of new processes and systems
- Conduct impact assessments, analyze stakeholders, and tailor communications for agency stakeholders
- Collaborate with other teams to ensure a coordinated approach to change management
- Collect and incorporate feedback to optimize change management efforts
- Prepare and deliver presentations and training to facilitate user adoption
Minimum Requirements
- 6 years : Experience in IT operations with solid change management knowledge
- 5 years : Proven experience in change management, preferably within large-scale transformation projects
- 4 years : Strong understanding of change management principles, methodologies, and tools (ITIL preferred)
- 4 years (Preferred) : Certification in change management (e.g., Prosci, CMAP) or equivalent experience
- 4 years (Preferred) : Ability to influence and build relationships with stakeholders at all levels
- 4 years (Preferred) : Ability to manage ambiguity, push through challenges, and demonstrate accountability
- 4 years (Preferred) : Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, presentation, and facilitation skills
