Certified Professional Coder
Currently seeking a certified Professional Medical Coder with experience in medical billing to join our healthcare team.
The ideal candidate will hold a Certified Professional Coder (CPC) credential, possess a college degree or equivalent, and demonstrate expertise in both medical coding and billing processes.

Responsibilities :
- Accurately assign ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS codes to medical diagnoses and procedures.
- Review and analyze patient medical records to ensure documentation supports the codes assigned.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to clarify information and resolve coding discrepancies.
- Handle medical billing tasks, including insurance follow-up on outstanding claims.
- Post payments accurately and timely to patient accounts.
- Conduct collections activities as needed to address overdue accounts.
- Stay updated on coding guidelines and billing regulations to ensure compliance.
Requirements :
- Certified Professional Coder (CPC) credential is mandatory.
- A college degree in a related field or equivalent education and experience.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in medical coding within a medical office setting.
- Proficient in ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding systems.
- Experience in medical billing, including insurance follow-up, payment posting, and collections.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
- Reliable and dependable work ethic.
