Summary

The Social Media Manager is responsible for managing b1's company image in a cohesive way to achieve its marketing goals by building social media strategies with ideation, planning, creation, and execution of social media engagement for the company to build brand affinity with current and potential consumers and employees.

This position will also be responsible for the planning and fulfillment of all social media campaigns. The role maintains relationships, across the company's footprint, with key stakeholders both internally and externally to stay up to date on special events, community outreach and industry related news to procure social content in alignment with the b1 narrative.

This position is responsible for all social media related to b1BANK, its subsidiaries, and major lines of business.

Specific Job Functions

  • Plans, implements and leads social media strategies to align with the company's business and marketing goals to ensure a positive presence on all social media platforms.
  • Creates engaging, accurate and on-brand multimedia content utilizing Social Media Manager's recommended equipment and software provided by company.
  • Develops social media calendar and executes social media campaigns. Ensuring content is published on schedule and across various platforms consistently.
  • Tracks and analyzes key social media platform analytics to formulate growth and increased engagement strategies.
  • Builds and maintains strong positive relationships and culture through social platforms.
  • Performs research on current benchmark trends and audience preferences.
  • Attends major sponsorship events in person to create content for social media platforms.
  • Supports marketing in their efforts to monitor search engine optimization and web traffic metrics to enhance the overall marketing strategy.
  • Cross departmental collaboration with teams throughout the company to ensure timely, engaging and compliant social media content.
  • Communicates with followers, responds to queries in a timely manner, and monitors customer reviews.
  • Oversees all social media platform accounts.
  • Implements new features to develop brand awareness through social content.
  • Stays up to date on the latest digital technologies, design tools, applications, and social media trends.
  • Conducts frequent industry and competitive analysis to identify trends and opportunities and provides monthly reporting and recommendations based on data and trend analysis.

Minimum Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Communication, Digital Media, Broadcasting, Marketing, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of (5) five years of experience in digital or social media execution; Experience in the banking or financial industry is preferred.
  • A minimum of (1) one-year proven ability to influence leaders and other key stakeholders to understand the benefits of social media and importance of participating in social media campaigns.
  • Must demonstrate extensive knowledge of a variety of current social media platforms.
  • Effective time-management skills.
  • Requires ability to travel.
  • Possess strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Must demonstrate strong oral and written communication skills to effectively communicate with co-workers and clients.
  • Proficient in computer skills and Microsoft Suite.
