Interim DON (Director of Nursing)
We are searching for Temporary Director of Nursing to build bench strength in the event that a position becomes temporarily opened or we simply need additional assistance.

As the Director of Nursing, you will lead a team of experienced nurse leaders in the clinical operations of the facility.
Reliability and willingness to lead by example is a must. Willing to train the right candidate- strong, experienced corporate team already in place.
The candidate MUST have :
- Active Registered Nursing License with 2-5 years of nursing leadership experience
- Knowledge of long-term care and the regulations associated with the healthcare industry
- Interpersonal skills, attention to detail and the ability to problem solve and identify clinical solutions in the best interest of our residents
- Positive attitude and strong leadership skills
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS :
- Must be able to move intermittently throughout the day, proper body mechanics required bending, stooping, turning, stretching, reaching above the shoulders are involved
- Must be able to cope with the mental, emotional, and physical stress of the position.
- Must be able to observe, listen and communicate effectively
- Must function independently, have flexibility, personal integrity, and the ability to work effectively with residents, personnel, support agencies, and outside agencies
- Must be able to relate to and work with the ill, disabled, elderly, emotionally upset, and at times hostile people within the facility
