Role : Pet Resort General ManagerJob Summary :

As the Pet Resort General Manager at Fairfield, you will plan, direct, and oversee the day-to-day operations of our business.

You will lead and manage all departments, ensuring that procedures and policies are followed. Your role is to uphold our mission and values, protect and train our staff, and deliver exceptional guest and client experiences.

You will be the leader who educates, inspires, and drives the team towards success.

Pet Resort General Manager Responsibilities :

  • Act as a brand ambassador, maintaining a positive reputation in the community.
  • Hire and manage all staff members.
  • Maintain employee retention through succession planning and annual reviews.
  • Delegate responsibilities and expect accountability and feedback.
  • Handle all advertising and marketing for the business.
  • Personally handle high-level customer complaints or ensure they are managed by an Assistant Manager.
  • Be capable of performing any job requirement of any staff member.
  • Monitor P&L monthly and control expenses.
  • Create, monitor, and report KPIs.
  • Hold monthly staff meetings and weekly huddles.
  • The General Manager must be willing to travel up to the greater of 25 miles or 1 hour from their resort to work at any resort location in need.

Pet Resort General Manager Qualifications :

  • Minimum of 3 years of managerial experience in the hospitality industry.
  • BA or equivalent recommended.
  • Customer service-oriented.
  • Must be willing to work any shift outside of their schedule upon request of ownership.
  • Weekend and holiday hours are required.
