The Business Analyst role plays an integral role in the delivery of a variety of MarketSphere’s services.
MarketSphere provides compliance, consulting, and technology solutions to companies ranging in size from the Fortune 10 through the middle market.
MarketSphere’s Business Services Center provides our client delivery teams with the business services required by our clients and plays an essential role to the success of our business.

The Business Analyst role would support the Business Services Center located in the Kansas City Metro Area. The Business Services Center is a growing area of our business and includes our print and mailroom operations, owner response handling and claim processing, and contact center operations.
This role would work closely with line of business stakeholders and technical staff to support current solutions, identify opportunities for improvement, and implement enhancements to business processes, policies, and applications.

Responsibilities :
- Serve as line of business tools / application superuser and provide day to day operational support to Business Service Center (BSC)
- Work with BSC and practice leadership to evaluate current processes and drive ongoing improvements
- Work with line of business leads to support business operations and ensure alignment with capabilities
- Lead training and change management for BSC teams related to new technology, enhancements, and process changes
- Regularly meet with business stakeholders to gather requirements and generate functional and technical specifications
- Lead future initiatives for technology / systems and process improvements
- Serve as a liaison between the BSC and other technical support teams including IT and software development
Qualifications :
- Proficient in Microsoft Office - Excel, Word, Visio and Outlook with exceptional Excel knowledge
- Strong analytical skills and ability to solve complex problems
- Practical experience generating process documentation and business requirements to guide project development
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Ability to work in a collaborative environment and possesses past success working with multiple teams and office locations towards common goals
- Flexibility in dealing with simultaneous tasks and changing priorities
- Excellent organizational skills
- Solid project management skills as part of implementing business process changes
- Positive attitude and energy every day and especially during heavy workload and approaching deadlines
- Capable of working independently and as part of a team, both technical and non-technical
Preferred Experience :
- Experience with data capture software
- Experience working with contact center, Helpdesk ticketing and customer service software solutions
- Experience supporting a software development team in a business analyst role
- Working knowledge of state unclaimed property requirements
- Experience providing technical or operational support in financial services or other client-focused environment
- Experience providing technical or operational support to call center, print center, mail rooms, claims processing and other business service or administrative environments
