Job Summary :

Steelworx Industrial Group, LLC. is seeking an experienced General Superintendent to oversee all aspects of our construction projects.

The ideal candidate will ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities :

• Project Oversight :
• Oversee all construction plans and operations, ensuring quality completion within specified timeframes.
• Coordinate the work of team members, contractors, engineers, and external partners.
• Site Supervision :
• Supervise the construction site, ensuring safety and security protocols are followed.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and compliance with plans.
• Budget Management :
• Manage the budget, expenditure, and cost accounting functions.
• Ensure cost-effective procurement of necessary materials and equipment.
• Scheduling and Reporting :
• Develop and maintain project schedules.
• Prepare and present regular progress reports to stakeholders.
• Regulatory Compliance :
• Ensure all construction activities comply with relevant laws and regulations.
• Stay updated on industry standards and best practices.
• Team Management :
• Interview and select workers for the site.
• Provide leadership and guidance to the construction team.

Education & Skill Requirements :

• Proven experience as a General Superintendent in commercial construction.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, equipment, and OSHA safety standards.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Proficiency in construction management software.

Physical Demands :

• Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds regularly and up to 100 pounds occasionally.
• Ability to work in hot or cold conditions, outdoors, and at high elevations.
• Ability to operate a motor vehicle safely and efficiently.
• Ability to pass a drug test.
• Possess a valid driver’s license and maintain a clean driving record.
