Journeyman Electrician

About the Opportunity

Our client is expanding and looking for dedicated and energetic Journeyman Electricians with residential solar experience to join our growing team in Maine.

This role involves working from ladders and rooftops, so comfort and experience with heights are essential. If you have a passion for renewable energy, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to quality, we want you to help us complete several exciting solar projects across the state.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with solar installation teams to ensure safe and efficient project completion
  • Perform electrical work in accordance with local and national electrical codes
  • Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues on-site
  • Maintain high standards of quality and safety

Qualifications

  • Completion of an electrician program at a technical or trade school preferred
  • Proven experience with solar installations
  • Strong understanding of electrical systems and blueprints
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Working knowledge of electrical theory, and the associated principles, materials, and equipment

  • Tools of the trade, including some personal protective equipment
  • Reliable transportation
  • Clean driving record / Valid driver's license
  • Current Electrical Journeyman license
  • Integrity
  • Strong work ethic
  • Ability to take direction, learn and implement new processes

Compensation

Hourly $45-$50 per hour
