Role Description
Lansing Electric is seeking a driven and experienced Residential Electrician to join our growing team.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in residential and multi-family electrical work, a
strong work ethic, and a commitment to delivering high-quality results. We are looking for a
professional who is eager to grow through hard work and dedication.
Primary Responsibilities
Perform electrical installations, troubleshooting, repairs, and maintenance in residential and
multi-family homes.
Identify and resolve electrical issues efficiently and in accordance with safety standards and
local electrical codes.
- Deliver high-quality workmanship, ensuring customer satisfaction on every job.
- Keep accurate records of square footage and work completed to qualify for bi-weekly
performance bonuses.
Maintain effective communication with clients and team members, providing timely updates and
addressing concerns.
- Continuously seek to improve your skills and knowledge in the residential electrical field.
- Organization and coordination of projects within the company including project documentation.
- Tracking timelines and maintaining schedules.
- Assist in expediting workflow.
- Work with the team to achieve organizational goals while upholding best practices and
procedures.
Other duties as assigned.

Education & Experience
- Minimum 3 years of residential or multi-family electrical experience.
- Reliable transportation (truck, van, or similar vehicle) to transport tools and equipment to job
sites.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Strong knowledge of residential electrical systems, installations, and repairs.
- Self-motivated, persistent, and eager to grow your career and income.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment and perform physically demanding tasks.
- Familiarity with current electrical codes and safety regulations.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Willingness to work flexible hours to meet project deadlines.
Schedule :
Monday-Friday, standard daytime hours; 8 am - 5 pm. Occasional weekend work may be
required.
Job Type :
Full-time position, averaging 40 hours per week.
Compensation :
- $100,000-$150,000+

Work Environment :
Office and construction site environment with a business casual dress code. Standard office
equipment, such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines, in
addition to standard tools and construction materials and equipment used when building a home
are used in this role
Physical Demands :
The role requires the ability to talk and hear, stand, walk, use hands to handle or feel, and reach
with hands and arms. Occasional lifting of office products and supplies, up to 20 pounds, may
be necessary. Some travel might be required.
