Responsibilities
Become a subject matter expert in UWM’s applications, automated testing tools and testing / defect management
Design, build and manage automated test frameworks and scripts
Actively participate in UWM’s Agile culture and framework (i.e., Continuous Improvement Culture, Scrum, and Kanban Frameworks)
Carry out functional and non-functional testing, including web accessibility, product app security, server-side load and performance, and client-side page speed
Review automated test results and take appropriate action (i.e., file defects, updating test code / data / configuration, etc.)
Ensure that any areas not covered by automated tests are validated via alternate mechanisms
Improve product and code testability by influencing design at the architecture phase
Collaborate with team members in other roles, including Developers, Business Analysts, Quality Analysts, and Product Owners.
Plan, define, and execute test strategies in a multi-screen, multi-platform web application environment, and ensured they are released to production with high quality
Qualifications
Must Have Qualifications :
2+ years of experience in software testing
Strong coding skills, in one or more programming languages such as C# or Java
Experience with automation testing frameworks Selenium / Web driver / TestNG
Experience defining test strategy in collaboration with business stakeholders
Proficiency testing web services or API
Proficiency with relational databases
Experience with non-functional testing
Highly collaborative mindset and a good team player
Ability to communicate complex technical issues and solutions in a clear, simple and understandable way
Onsite, full-time attendance
Computer-related degree or equivalent experience
Nice to Have Qualifications :
Server-side load and performance testing tools like jMeter
Mobile automation tools such as XCTest, Espresso, and Applitools
Mortgage knowledge or experience
