FBA Picker & Packer

Job Summary : We are looking for an experienced FBA (Fulfillment by Amazon) Picker & Packer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that products are prepared and shipped in compliance with Amazon's strict FBA guidelines.

Accuracy, efficiency, and a strong understanding of Amazon’s packaging and shipping requirements are critical for this position.

As the FBA Picker & Packer, you will manage the entire process from picking the correct products, preparing them for shipment, labeling, and ensuring they are packaged according to Amazon’s standards to avoid delays or penalties.

Responsibilities :

Pick products for Amazon FBA : The core responsibility is to pick products from the warehouse inventory that are intended for shipment to Amazon's Fulfillment Centers.

You must ensure the correct items and quantities are selected for each order based on detailed pick lists.

Pack products in compliance with Amazon FBA guidelines : Once picked, items must be packed following Amazon's specific guidelines for packaging, including the use of appropriate box sizes, filler materials, and protective wrapping to prevent damage during transit.

This also involves following specific labeling instructions.

Ensure compliance with Amazon’s shipping and packaging rules : All products need to be labeled accurately according to Amazon's requirements.

This includes ensuring that all barcodes are scannable and that labels are placed in the correct locations on the package.

Failure to meet these standards can result in penalties from Amazon.

Organize and prepare shipments for delivery : Once packed and labeled, orders must be organized and scheduled for pickup by shipping carriers.

This involves maintaining clear records of all shipments and ensuring that they are dispatched on time.

Maintain accurate inventory levels : As you pick and pack items, it is important to update inventory records to reflect what has been shipped out.

This helps avoid overselling and ensures stock is replenished as necessary.

• Coordinate with warehouse staff and supervisors : You may need to communicate with other team members or supervisors to ensure that shipments are prioritized correctly and that any issues with stock or packing are addressed quickly.
• Assist with warehouse organization : Beyond packing, you will assist in keeping the warehouse organized and clean, ensuring that items are stored in their correct locations for easy retrieval during the picking process.
• Follow health and safety protocols : Ensuring the safety of the work environment is key. You will need to follow all warehouse safety procedures, particularly when handling heavy or hazardous materials.

Requirements

• Previous experience with FBA packing and shipping : Familiarity with Amazon FBA processes is required to ensure that all shipments comply with their strict standards.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy : Precision is necessary to ensure that shipments are packed correctly and that all Amazon guidelines are met to avoid delays or penalties.
• Experience with warehouse management systems : Knowing how to use inventory management software or warehouse management systems is a plus.
