The Human Resources Director is responsible for translating the company's strategic and tactical business plans into cohesive HR operational goals and results.

leads a team of four HR associates.

Today, Loeb Electric provides electrical, lighting, DataComm, and strut products to its commercial, residential, and institutional construction clients throughout central Ohio.

Talent Acquisition and Organizational Development :

  • Oversees talent acquisition, retention, and career development programs to ensure a skilled and engaged workforce.
  • Collaborates with managers to understand their talent priorities and develop strategies to align people to achieve company goals.

We don’t always have all the right people in the right place at the right time. We need you to lead talent planning with an eye toward improved succession readiness.

Associate Relations :

Fosters a positive work environment by addressing associate concerns and facilitating resolution; responsible for all employment decisions including investigations, corrective action or documentation.

Recommends appropriate action to mitigate risks.

Develops policies, procedures, and training for managers and associates to ensure compliance and best practices. Maintains HR policies and procedures that are compliant to federal, state and local laws.

You will play a critical role in developing our managers to drive results and support their teams in achieving success. This involves not only fostering growth but also delivering honest feedback and holding individuals accountable when necessary.

We seek a partner who understands the operational landscape and can contribute meaningfully to our ongoing growth trajectory.

Compensation and Benefits :

Leads the design of competitive compensation and benefits programs analyzing market trends to ensure the organization remains competitive in its offerings.

Data and metrics are important and are a key component to analyzing comp and benefits. We have a solid foundation, but we are going to need to stay ahead of the trends to be competitive.

Preferred Experience :

  • Experience in a private, family-owned business is important; all large corporate experience not preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced education and / or certification preferred
  • 15 + years minimum of progressive HR leadership experience; at least 5 years in a leadership role
  • Proven experience in talent management, associate relations, and self-insured benefits and compensation - not just one area of expertise
  • Tech-savvy, with strong skills in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems; ADP a plus.
