Job Description

The Senior Business Analyst will report to the Director of Information Technology and will be responsible for the daily operations of ITW Deltar’s enterprise systems including, but not limited to, ERP and CRM systems.

This role will be responsible for the development and delivery of business requirements, solution scope, testing, training, business support, key performance indicators and data analysis for continuous process improvements.

The Senior Business Analyst works closely with key stakeholders to devise optimal solutions for various short-term and long-term process enhancements, bug fixes, and functional requirements available within the scope of the business systems.

This position provides operational and functional administration of the enterprise systems to leverage efficiencies between systems and processes to support the evolving business needs of ITW Deltar Fasteners.

  • Manage enterprise solutions and projects in support of company’s short-term and long-term business strategies including, but not limited to, ERP, CRM and others
  • Works with key business and IT stakeholders in implementing systems solutions and integrating best practices into technology platform (ERP, CRM, and others)
  • Ensures overall health of the enterprise system to best support business priorities, internal and external stakeholders, and provides Level 2+ systems support
  • Manage business requirements analysis within the context of internal and external facing systems
  • Translate conceptual user requirements into functional requirements in a clear manner that is comprehensible to project team
  • Assist in conducting research on software and hardware products to meet agreed-upon requirements and to support purchasing efforts
  • Manage Business Intelligence (Power BI, SQL Server, etc.) platform, associated requirements gathering, and solutions delivery
  • Assists in the development of best practices to improve business processes, system solutions, workflow, and process flow diagrams
  • Defines project requirements and support business users throughout the project life cycle including scope definition, design review and User Acceptance Testing
  • Monitors project progress, resolve project issues, publish progress reports and recommend actions to remediate risks
  • Oversee the life cycle of changes to business systems and maintain detailed documentation.
  • Review current processes and explore opportunities to improve processes and systems effectiveness
  • Manages the job responsibilities of 3rd party resources and programmers

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or comparative work experience with emphasis on automotive systems required
  • Advanced degree and / or certification(s) in Business Analysis, Project Management, Product Management, Customer Experience, Information Technology or Digital Transformation considered a plus
  • 8 years of Business Solutions analysis experience and at least 4 years of systems management experience in technology such as CRM, ERP, mobile apps, etc.
  • 4+ years of experience in Project Life Cycle management is desired
  • Demonstrated knowledge of an organization’s core business processes and operations, manufacturing experience required
  • Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to apply them to systems issues and products as required
  • Demonstrated project management skills including planning, organizing, and managing resources
  • Experience implementing large scale software solutions, such as ERP or CRM preferred
  • Experienced in working as a techno-functional leader working with multiple stakeholders
  • Experience in supporting automotive supplier manufacturing systems is desirable
  • Must be proactive, self-motivated, and lead team to multiple concurrent solutions
