This position is hybrid, with the expectation to come into the office 1-2 times per month.
Position Summary :
Responsible for managing a collection portfolio for the different business lines. Build and maintain a working relationship with the agency families and our customers to achieve optimum collection results.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
- Manage accounts through a collection software that provides a path for collection activity, dispute resolution and creation of collection notices to our customer and or agency families
- Collaborates with other departments to resolve a wide range of issues that include clarifying charges, correction to invoices and finalizing the accounts
- Reviews customer accounts and makes recommendations based on outstanding account balances for referral to outside collection agencies
- Monitors credits and debits received to ensure accurate application to the portfolio
- Performs other duties or works on projects as assigned to meets business needs
- Well informed of Board Policies
- Performs a variety of other duties as assigned. Qualifications :
Education, License or Certification :
High School Diploma / GED. Associate’s degree preferred.
Experience :
Two years’ experience in collections preferred
