Conducts quality assurance, quality control and inspection activities. Assists in the development and implementation of new processes and procedures;
improves current processes and procedures.Essential Duties and Responsibilities : Include the following, as well as other duties may be assigned.
- Coordinates inspection duties (FA, In-Process and Final)
- Close tolerance dimensional Inspection of small machined plastic & metal components
- Ability to follow written instructions and to complete relative inspection paperwork
- Corrective Actions Assigns, investigates and responds to opportunities for improvement
- Analyzes non-conforming parts in order to identify root causes problem resolution
- Implements & manages all Calibration Activities through formal programs
- Completes both internal and customer related documentation as requiredKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities :
- Proficiency with inspection tools including CMM and Optical comparator
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 / AS9100 Quality Management Systems
- Proficiency in conducting internal audits Education and Experience :
- 5 years experience in Quality Assurance and Quality Control
- Ability to read and interpret prints drawings in addition to customer expectations
