Your Role in Our Client’s Journey : As a Senior Business Development Manager for Large or Mid-Market Accounts you will play a pivotal role in our client’s sales ecosystem, promoting wellness program sales through a multi-faceted approach encompassing partnerships (with brokerage firms, reseller organizations, etc.
direct sales, and marketing-driven leads with annual revenues exceeding $100,000. In harmony with our client’s sales leadership, you will forge and deepen relationships with wellness industry leaders and stakeholders, thereby enhancing our client’s brand and driving sales success.
This role is externally oriented, with potential travel comprising up to 30% of your time.
Duties and Responsibilities :
Champion the sales of our client’s Wellbeing Solutions via designated channel partners, targeting new clientele and aiming for an annual sales benchmark of over $1.5M.
Cultivate and sustain productive channel partnerships, overseeing the development of the sales funnel.
Market and sell our client’s Wellbeing Solutions’ integrated products to new clients, meeting foundational sales and quarterly performance indicators.
Collaborate closely with the operations and marketing divisions to ensure the fulfillment of partner and client requirements.
Engage in activities such as crafting presentations, delivering sales pitches, demonstrating systems, propelling sales opportunities forward, and generating reports.
Document all sales-related actions within the Hubspot CRM system.
Contribute to the business development team’s training initiatives as needed.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of product offerings through ongoing education and professional development.
Take ownership of new and diverse tasks, seeking ways to enhance job performance and contribute to team and organizational objectives.
Manage up to 30% travel as part of your role.
Handle client expectations and resolve any issues to ensure complete satisfaction.
The Ideal Candidate :
Has existing relationships withing the Insurance Brokerage industry (Health / Wellness).
Understands how to navigate the channel partner ecosystem.
Has a successful track record of contributing to team sales achievements.
Continuously hits or exceeds annual goals / quota.
Possesses experience in prospecting and securing new business deals.
Demonstrates a deep understanding of technical products.
Is adept at nurturing relationships, particularly with channel partners.
Is proficient in utilizing CRM databases to monitor activities and track sales progression.
Thrives in a professional business and sales environment.
Experience : Demonstrated success in health & wellness sales, especially with large-scale contracts.
Education : Bachelor's degree in business administration, Marketing, Sales, Economics, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
