Radiation Therapist

Our client is in search of a skilled and compassionate Radiation Therapist to become a part of their team.

Position : Radiation Therapist

Shift : Monday through Friday, 7 : 00 am - 4 : 00 pm or 8 : 00 am - 5 : 00 pm

SALARY : $88,296.00 - $(phone number removed)

SIGNING BONUS : Yes

BONUS DESCRIPTION : 1,500

RELOCATION PACKAGE : Full

Must-Haves :

1) Graduate of an accredited school of Radiation Therapy Technology.

2) Certified Radiation Therapist by the American Registry of Radiation Therapy Technologists (ARRT-T).

3) Licensed by the Texas Department of Health (TMB).

4) Must have 3+ years of experience in radiation

Nice-To-Haves :

13+ year of experience as Radiation Therapist

Qualifications :

Valid Radiation Therapist license.

Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiation Therapy.

Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Radiation Therapist.

Strong technical skills and attention to detail.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.

Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Experience / Knowledge / Skills :

Ability to lift and / or maneuver patients in conjunction with others in order to perform job functions.Principal Accountabilities

Your primary responsibilities will include :

Administering radiation therapy treatments to patients according to prescribed protocols.

Ensuring the accurate positioning of patients and equipment.

Monitoring and assessing patients' responses to treatments.

Maintaining detailed records of treatment plans and patient progress.

Educating patients and their families about radiation therapy and its potential side effects.

Collaborating with the oncology team to develop and adjust treatment plans as necessary.

Adhering to safety protocols and maintaining a safe working environment.

Participating in quality assurance and improvement initiatives.
