Our ideal candidate is attentive, ambitious, and hard-working. Home Delivered Meal Route We are seeking an individual to join our team as our Home Delivered Meal Driver.

This position would cover Jefferson and Shelby County working as a driver delivering meals using your own reliable vehicle.

The route typically starts at 9 : 30 am and you deliver until finished which could be anywhere from 1 to 4 hours depending on the number of stops Responsibilities Drive clean personal vehicle to deliver food to customers Navigate a variety of routes throughout the city while adhering to a time schedule Load and unload food to be delivered Complete logs and reports Pack your car with meals for the route Drive a route delivering meals Meal delivery is scheduled to start on Sunday mornings or Sundays after church During your route, drop off bag at front door and pick up any reusable bags and bring back to customer warehouse at end of rout Requirements 18 years or older Valid Alabama DL (at least two years) Safe driving record Vehicle and basic liability insurance Good verbal English and customer service skills Smartphone (iOS or Android) with internet plan Dedicated to working as a team towards one goal Benefits $15 an hour floor rate plus .

30 cent a mile OR $2.25 per stop plus .30 cent a mile which ever is greater (Most drivers average $20 to $25 an hour) Drivers keep all tips Committed to work most Sunday Mornings or Sunday's after church We pay with direct deposit It's a contractor position (1099) Our goal is to provide opportunities for large commissions, strong relationships, and a platform where you are family.
