We have an opening for a Director of Product Design to lead a product experience design team by delivering business objectives through the creation of superior user experiences for clients and internal team members.

You will provide day-to-day direction and guidance for the team’s growth and output, as well as partner with cross-functional leads and the leadership team to drive strategy.

What you’ll do :

• Lead a product design team, including defining and measuring design strategies that drive client acquisition, satisfaction, and retention to create demand and accelerate revenue growth.
• Champion creating a differentiated and competitive user experience by using storytelling and persuasion to connect strategy and vision.
• Drive high-quality, user-centric experiences.
• Develop an emerging understanding of broader organizational context and goals.
• Utilize user feedback obtained by all channels, 3rd party research, and monitor and develop action plans to influence product direction.
• Hire and retain top user experience design talent by driving career development and performance.
• Develop highly innovative solutions and recommend to executive leadership for prioritization.

Who you are :

• 8+ years of experience designing UX solutions for software, web applications, and / or mobile native apps.
• 4+ years of experience leading product designers, with a proven track record of building and managing strong, effective design teams.
• Demonstrated ability in creating user experience designs that create a competitive advantage and measure the effectiveness of designs with end users.
• Demonstrated ability in working with a variety of design tools such as Figma or Adobe XD.
• Demonstrated ability to influence product direction through a deep understanding of user needs and usability.
• Demonstrated ability in best practices, key findings, and evidence-based rationalization of design decisions.
• Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred) in User Experience, Interaction Design, Communication Design, Information Architecture, Psychology, HCI, Human Factors, other related fields, or equivalent work experience.

The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s experience, their education and work location.

In addition, some roles may be eligible for additional on target commission pay or bonus. The compensation package includes health and welfare benefits including paid leave.
